We are a “concierge” piano dealer—because of our longstanding relationships with piano brokers and piano makers all over the country and the world, we can get you the piano you want at the price you want, perfectly prepared, tuned, and set up in your domain with double the manufacturer’s warranty—and make it all easy and “no problem.”

In 2002 I read a book called “The Piano Shop on the Left Bank.”
I was enthralled by the idea—catalyzed by the book’s store-within-a- store in Paris—of a sort of “you have to know me to get in” piano shop, where the art and craft of pianos and the high standards of world-class artists and the artisan’s sense of musicality were the guiding passion and principle. So this is it: the Atelier. We have a beautiful location, great players coming by regularly, a concert every couple of months, and world-class pianos for sale at most price points—my dream come true.

My goal is for the Atelier to be a place where you can always walk in and play some of the best pianos in the world, and you’ll always have a good time. Where piano buyers can come to an atmosphere of calm, beauty, and culture and choose a piano in the most unhurried, focused way. I’ll leave you completely alone for hours; I’ll bring you food and drink. If you bring a technician, I’ll leave my tools in the Atelier so they can work with the voicing, tuning, or regulation if they wish, for exploration/demonstration purposes.

There’s never any pressure, because the client either falls in love with the piano, and we find a way for him/her to buy it, or they don’t.
Simple. No stress.
